About Super Street Fighter II Turbo

Capcom published Super Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting, a competitive fighting game, for arcades in 1992. Following Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, it is the third title in the Street Fighter II sub-series. Hyper Fighting, which was released less than a year after the previous installment, improved the character balance further while introducing a faster playing pace and new special moves for some characters. The Street Fighter II series’ last arcade game to make use of CP System technology was Hyper Fighting. Super Street Fighter II, the following game in the franchise, adopted the CP System II hardware.\

Super Street Fighter II Turbo features a roster of 16 playable characters, each with their unique fighting styles and special moves. The game also introduced the ability to perform “Super Combos,” powerful attacks that can be executed by filling up a special meter during gameplay.

How to play?

Super Street Fighter II Turbo is a one-on-one fighting game where two players select their preferred characters from a roster of 16 and compete against each other in a best-of-three-round match.

The objective of the game is to deplete the opponent’s health bar by landing attacks and combos while avoiding their attacks. Each character has a set of special moves, including unique normal attacks, special moves, and Super Combos, which can be used to gain an advantage over the opponent.

To execute special moves and Super Combos, the player needs to input specific button combinations on the game controller. Each character has its own unique moves and combos, and learning how to use them effectively is a key part of becoming a skilled player.

In addition to the standard gameplay, Super Street Fighter II Turbo also features several modes, such as Arcade, Versus, Training, and Time Attack. In Arcade mode, the player competes against a series of computer-controlled opponents to reach the final boss, while Versus mode allows two players to play against each other. Training mode allows players to practice and hone their skills, while Time Attack mode challenges players to defeat as many opponents as possible within a set time limit.
